Sony shifted 75,311 PS3s during the week ended June 15, up from just under 11,000 the previous week. That figure includes sales of the new Metal Gear Solid PS3 bundle,
Sales of Sony’s PSP, which has bossed the hardware chart for over a month now, remained solid, up 2,500 units to 64,675.
Sales of the other four major platforms rose marginally too. Nintendo’s Wii and DS systems sold 45,564 units and 39,201 respectively, PlayStation 2 sales hit 7,297 units, while sales of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 totaled 2,163 units.
