The next MI6 Conference, started in 2006, will take place April 7-8, 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel San Francisco.
The conference brings in figures from both inside and outside of the games industry to share their knowledge about marketing entertainment to gaming's unique audiences.
MI6 co-chair and Future U.S. president Jonathan Simpson-Bint offered, "The Annual MI6 Conference has become an invaluable touch point for us as a community.
"As the business booms, our unique group of professionals will begin to lead the discussion about the role marketing, promotion and advertising play in the value of gaming content across platforms."
Presenters at past MI6 events include CSI creator Anthony Zuiker, Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, Ubisoft North America president Larent Detoc, Sims creator Will Wright, EA Sports' Peter Moore and EA music man Steve Schnur, among many others.
MI6 also said that it is opening the call for session and speaker proposals from "all areas" of the entertainment business.
Also part of the annual conference are the MI6 game marketing awards, which recognizes top efforts from industry marketers.
