Activision’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has become the bestselling game in UK history, according to sales monitor GfK Chart-Track.
The Infinity Ward developed FPS overtook unit sales of previous record holder Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training in just 41 weeks, of which only three were spent outside of the UK's top ten sellers list.
While no specific sales figures were released for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC shooter, Chart-Track said that it took DS exclusive Dr Kawashima around 36 months to overtake the previous record holder, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which was released for PS2, Xbox and PC.
