Activision’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 claimed the top spot on the UK all formats chart for a fourth consecutive week.
That’s despite the shooter seeing a seven per cent drop in sales and EA’s FIFA 10 enjoying another strong surge during the week ended December 5.
A 24 per cent jump in FIFA 10 sales saw EA’s football title dribble past New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Assassin’s Creed II - both of which fell one spot - to take second place.
Nintendo’s Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus took fifth and sixth respectively following 30 per cent and 21 per cent sales increases.
Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games was a non-mover in seventh place, while Lego Indiana Jones 2, Forza Motorsport 3 and Mario Kart Wii rounded off the top ten.
EA’s The Saboteur entered at 39, while Activision's Tony Hawk: Ride failed to crack the top 40 in its debut week.
