The funding comes from Aberdeen Gould Capital Markets.
Most of the funds will go towards the launch of the English version of CrossFire, an Asian MMO that Silverbirch expects to launch in North America and the U.K. by year-end.
Toronto-based Silverbirch expects the deal to close on or around October 10.
Earlier this month, Silverbirch announced $2 million in financing that would be used to launch CrossFire and for "general working capital purposes."
