Sony has confirmed that its delayed racer Motorstorm: Apocalypse will be released in the UK on March 31.
The PlayStation 3 racing title, which is set in a US city struck by an earthquake, was originally set for release on March 18.
However, Sony announced last week that it had delayed the game’s launch, deeming its subject matter insensitive in the aftermath of the March 11 Tohoku earthquake and ensuing tsunami.
"Although we have shipped the game into the channel last week, given that we are able to do so, we have chosen to postpone the launch in the UK," SCE said in a statement at the time. "In the meantime we will continue to monitor the situation very closely."
Motorstorm: Apocalypse’s Japanese release, originally slated for launch on March 17, was also delayed, and is still without a revised date.
