MumboJumbo Boxes Braid

Indie hit Braid picked up by casual games publisher for a boxed release across North America.

A boxed version of the widely acclaimed indie hit Braid will launch across the US in January, casual games publisher MumboJumbo has announced.

According to the publisher (thanks Joystiq), Braid has amassed nearly two dozen awards since it first launched for Xbox and PC digital download in 2008. The game has since been released on the PlayStation Network.

Braid is a really exceptional game that is highly polished and fits in well with our premium casual games lineup for 2010,” said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. “We’re excited to bring Braid to the retail market, and we feel that MumboJumbo can really help round out the game’s reach.”

The boxed version of Braid will retail for $19.99.
