UPDATE: The US and Europe websites have now been activated by SNK Playmore, revealing a December 21 launch for the US and December 22 for Europe with titles costing $8.99/€8.99 on PS3 and $6.99/€6.99 on PSP.
Japan-based publisher and developer SNK Playmore has announced that Neo Geo Station will go live on December 22 in Japan.
Neo Geo Station is an emulator that will initially host ten titles for PS3 (at ¥900) and PSP (¥700). The full list of titles, which will be released in their original form without tweaks or changes to core gameplay, is: Fatal Fury, Metal Slug, The King of Fighters '94, Samurai Shodown, Super Sidekicks, Art of Fighting, ASO II: Last Guardian, League Bowling, Baseball Stars Professional and Magician Lord (via Andriasang).
Andriasang reports that though no changes will be made to gameplay, new features such as replays, music playback and save options will be introduced along with digital in-game manuals.
No date has yet been announced for a launch in other territories, however the Neo Geo Station website hosts inactive links to Europe and USA pages.
