San Francisco-based in-game ad firm Double Fusion has modified its executive team with a promotion and two new hires.

The company said Monday that it has promoted SVP of sales and marketing Julie Shumaker to general manager of its new Core Games Group, where she will oversee publishing partnerships. She has been with the company since 2006.

Double Fusion also hired Glen Sussman as CFO. Sussman was formerly CFO and COO of Game Trust, creators of the Game Frame online community platform.

The in-game ad house also hired former CNET VP of games Joshua Larsen, who will now take the position of VP of business development.

“Julie, Josh and Glen all have unique and diverse backgrounds, but traits they all share are a love of games and a history of strong results and success in their prior roles,” said Double Fusion CEO Jonathan Epstein in a statement.
