New iPhone Revealed - Report

The first pictures and details of what appears to be AppleĆs iPhone 4G have leaked on the internet.

The first pictures and details of what appears to be Apple’s fourth generation iPhone have leaked on the internet.

Technology website Gizmodo claims to have gotten its hands on an iPhone 4G unit reportedly lost by Apple.

“After playing with it for about a week - the overall quality feels exactly like a finished final Apple phone - and disassembling this unit, there is so much evidence stacked in its favour, that there's very little possibility that it's a fake. In fact, the possibility is almost none,” says the site.

The device is said to feature a front-facing video camera, improved back camera with flash, micro-SIM capability, improved display, a secondary microphone for noise cancellation and a larger battery.

“We can't tell you the exact resolution of this next-generation iPhone, but it's much higher than the current iPhone 3GS,” Gizmodo adds.

The phone was reportedly running iPhone OS 4.0 which, among other features, will enable developers to make use of a new online gaming network later this year.

While iPhone 4G has yet to be officially announced, Apple is rumoured to be readying a June 22 reveal.
