Nielsen: Halo: ODST Leads Post-E3 Purchase Interest

Research firm Nielsen says Microsoft’s Halo: ODST is the leading title in terms of "consumer purchase interest" following E3 earlier this month.

A survey conducted between June 7 and 14 found that 53 percent of respondents were "definitely or probably interested" in buying the Bungie developed Xbox 360 exclusive.

The title ranked directly above Sony’s PS3-only God Of War III and Wii exclusive Wii Sports Resort, Nielsen said.

According to separate research conducted by the firm, New Super Mario Brothers Wii grabbed the lion’s share of E3 attention with "4.6 percent of E3 buzz," although it failed to make the consumer purchase interest top 12, which follows.
