The latest title in Atlus’ big-in-Japan high-school demon-slaying RPG series entered the Japanese software chart at No1 during the week ended July 13 after shifting almost 200,000 copies.
Wii Fit took second place with 30,000 sales, followed in third by new DS title Densetsu no Starfi Taketsu.
Mario Kart Wii came in at No4, while Daigasso Band Brothers for DS slipped from the top spot to No5.
Biohazard Zero, the latest game in Capcom's Resident Evil series, entered the top ten at No6, followed by former chart topper Derby Stallion and two new DS titles, Konami’s Hanayori Dango: Koi Seyo Onago and Bandai Namco’s Gegege no Kitarou: Youkai Daigekisen.
Capcom’s PSP exclusive Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, Japan’s biggest title of the year to date with over 2.25 million sales, rounded off the top ten.
