Phil Harrison has left his position as president of Atari to take on the role of non-executive director at the firm.
“Because of a shift of business operations to the US, Phil Harrison will move from the role of president to that of non-executive director of the group. As all board members, he will continue to assist, support and guide the company's strategy,” Atari said at a statement.
The news comes just two weeks after reports seemingly confirming that Namco Bandai is to acquire Atari Europe. Following the buyout Atari will become a US-only brand, with its HQ headed up by current CEO David Gardner.
