PS3 Platinum Range to Hit PAL Territories on August 1

SCEE president David Reeves has confirmed that a Platinum range of PS3 games will launch in PAL territories on August 1.

Individual titles from the new value range, which will feature first and third party software including Resistance: Fall of Man, Uncharted: Drakes Fortune and Assassin’s Creed, will retail for €29.99.

Speaking at a media gathering in Los Angeles, Reeves also confirmed that major upcoming titles MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2 will be released in SCEE territories on the same date as in the US.

Earlier this week SCEA announced a $29.99 Greatest Hits PS3 line featuring titles such as Warhawk, Call of Duty 3 and Fight Night Round 3.
