Rage developer id Software has confirmed that QuakeCon 2012 will take place August 2 to 5.
The BYOC (bring-your-own-computer) gaming event will take place in the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas, Texas, which is offering special room rates for attendees.
Last year QuakeCon included the first public presentations of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Prey 2, while Rage was playable on the show floor.
This year, attendees will be hoping to get their first glimpse of Doom 4.
