Buzz! developer Relentless Software has appointed former Electronic Arts senior producer Danny Isaac as head of studio.
Isaac previously held roles at EA UK, EA Canada, and most recently established EA Korea. He joins Brighton-based Relentless as the studio prepares to launch new IP Blue Toad Murder Files on PlayStation Network next week, reports GamesIndustry.biz.
"The team here's done a fantastic job and we're all excited to see how well it's received and how the whole concept of an episodic murder mystery resonates,” Isaac said of the PS3 project. "Original IP is tough; more often than not you'll fail. That's why building and maintaining strong franchises - such as Buzz! - is important for Relentless. It gives us an opportunity to take some risks, the freedom to swing for the fences without having to worry if we strike out on this occasion.”
