Multiple sources are reporting that licensed games publisher Brash Entertainment has been sued by two developers, Zootfly and 7 Studios. Both studios are seeking money owed to them for development work contracted by the publisher.

A report on Variety states that 7 Studios is owed $468,000 (£312k) for its work on 9, a game based on an upcoming animated film produced by Tim Burton. It is also looking for $113,000 (£75k) for its work on Six Flags Fun Park (pictured), a game which 7 Studios completed for Brash. Zootfly is seeking $748,000 (£500k) for its work on a game based on Fox’s Prison Break.

In earlier reports, Variety stated that Brash Entertainment has stopped paying developers before shutting down on November 14th. Earlier, Edge-Online confirmed that the publisher had cut twenty jobs.

Brash has yet to release an official statement of closure.

Speaking to Variety, 7 Studios CEO Lewis Petersen declined to comment on the lawsuit, only saying that Six Flags Fun Park “would have been the best game Brash had produced."
