Microsoft is planning to bring a bespoke version of Internet Explorer 9 to Xbox 360's dashboard, according to a Verge source.
The browser is currently being tested and has Kinect gesture and voice control deeply woven into it, though it's not mandatory.
The 360 currently allows Bing voice search, but limits results to media – the new browser should allow users to explore all of the web from the comfort of their living rooms.
If the report is true, it further underlines Microsoft's apparent continued drive to position the console as an all-in-one entertainment hub rather than a games machine.
Expect confirmation either way during E3 next month.
