Fans of Resident Evil won't have to wait much longer to have a taste of Resident Evil 5 in playable form.

Capcom announced Wednesday that the demo for the highly-anticipated action horror game is arriving on Xbox Live on Monday, January 26.

The demo will hit PS3 one week later, a Capcom rep confirmed. He gave no reason for the one-week gap between the demos. The full game hits shelves on March 13 this year.

Xbox Live will also receive a high-def Tokyo Game Show trailer on Friday, January 16.
