Harmonix and MTV Games have big plans for full-album releases for September's Rock Band 2, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Foo Fighters' The Colour and the Shape, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Jane's Addiction's Nothing's Shocking, Megadeth's Peace Sells... But Who's Buying, Stevie Ray Vaughn's Texas Flood and a No Doubt "best of" compilation will arrive for download "in the coming months," MTV Games told the publication.

Another previously-known high-profile album coming to the Rock Band franchise is Metallica's new album Death Magnetica.

Full albums are already available for Rock Band from The Pixies, The Cars and Judas Priest.

MTV Games SVP Paul Degooyer said he was "surprised" by the amount of people downloading full albums, which likely justified a stronger focus on securing complete records.
