Electronic Arts has cut the recommended retail price of Rock Band in the UK to £109.99 and in mainland Europe to €139.99.

The new price applies to the already released Instrument Edition for 360, and the upcoming PS3, Wii and PS2 versions of Rock Band, which will ship in European territories throughout September.

The European edition of the game will feature 67 tracks upon release, nine more than the US version. In addition, EA announced that Rock Band’s North American library of more than 200 downloadable songs is now available in Europe for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, and that future Rock Band DLC will be made available simultaneously in the US and in Europe on a weekly basis.
