The BioShock movie has hit another stumbling block, director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo leaving the project.
Fresnadillo is the second director to leave the project following original director Gore Verbinski's exit. Speaking to The Playlist, Verbinski explained:
"To be honest, by now, I'm completely out of that, and developing other stuff. Right now it's on hold. The studio and [Irrational], they have to reach some kind of agreement about the budget and the rating."
With efforts focussed on BioShock Infinite, however, there is no sense of urgency to rush the film. That should leave plenty of time to come up with a better climactic battle, then.
