Sega has announced 'digitally re-mastered' versions of Dreamcast games Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live services.

The games follow Sega’s release of downloadable HD versions of Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi this year.

Haruki Satomi, vice president of digital business at Sega, said, “The release of these games marks Sega’s ongoing effort to bring its best-sellers from the Dreamcast era to the latest consoles.”

Rhythm-action game Space Channel 5 Part 2 was previously released on Dreamcast in Japan only, in 2002. A PlayStation 2 version was released in Europe the following year.

Sega’s downloadable racing game, Outrun Online Arcade was recently removed from the PlayStation Network service. It has since been revealed that the title will remain an exclusive on Xbox Live Arcade. Speaking to CVG, a Sega spokesperson said: "Due to the expiry of the contract with Ferrari, Outrun Online Arcade will remain offline on PSN but will still be available on XBLA until Dec 2011."
