THQ has created three new senior product development positions to fill the role of Jack Sorensen, head of the company’s studio system for the past seven years.
Roy Tessler has been promoted to senior vice president of production and worldwide studios. He will oversee production across THQ's product portfolio including THQ's internal studios.
Danny Bilson has been promoted to senior vice president of creative development focusing on THQ's owned intellectual properties.
Steve DeCosta has been promoted to senior vice president of product development finance and administration and will oversee project forecasting and cost management across the product development organization.
"This reorganization creates a more efficient management structure, aligning Roy, Danny and Steve as my direct reports," said Brian Farrell, president and CEO, THQ.
Roy Tessler was previously vice president of production for THQ, with 18 years of project management. Danny Bilson was creative director for Electronic Arts' worldwide studios. Steve DeCosta was previously vice president of studio finance at THQ.
