Michael Denny, senior vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe, will deliver the opening keynote at next month’s Develop Liverpool conference.

Responsible for heading up the platform holder’s game development operations in Europe, Denny will discuss what Sony looks for when commissioning original IPs from independent developers.

“The Develop conference always represents an important gathering for the industry, offering a great opportunity for sharing both knowledge and insights,” said Denny. “The UK remains a beacon for the global games development industry, and the North West has been a creative hub within the UK development scene for many years.”

Taking place at Liverpool's Arena and Conference Centre on November 5, Develop in Liverpool is a one day event covering three tracks: Coding & Production, Art & Design, and Evolve, which will focus on new platforms, technologies and markets. More information about the event can be found here.
