SOCOM: Confrontation developer Slant Six will roll out a patch on Tuesday as it aims to rectify some of the problems that have marred the launch of the title’s public beta.

“Due to overwhelming demand for the SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation public beta, we are experiencing load related issues," the company said in a statement. “These issues are causing abnormal latency, disconnects, long load times, login errors and community features such as clans and stats not functioning correctly (or at all).

“We are doing everything we can to resolve these issues as quickly as possible and you should see some improvements progressively over the next couple of days. However, we do not expect to have the issues completely resolved until close to the end of next week.”

The developer will be performing server maintenance and rolling out patch version 1.10 on Tuesday at 5am PDT (1200 GMT). The patch should add support for European and Australian servers and fix a number of stability issues.

“The server maintenance and patch are not meant to address all issues,” the company added. “We will have more updates to both the server and client in the future.”

SOCOM: Confrontation’s servers will be unavailable during the maintenance, which is expected to last for no longer than one and a half hours.

This is why I didn't even attempt to get into the beta. I've been a part of multiple Sony betas and all of them except for Home were unplayable due to insufficient online resources.
