Sony has revealed Soul Sacrifice, Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune's first game since leaving Capcom.
The Vita title is being developed by Japanese studio Marvelous AQL and Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.
The game casts players as the slave of a cruel sorcerer attempting to escape. You must sacrifice objects each time you casts magic, and these could be stones and trees for basic spells. But if you want something more devastating, you'll have to trade in parts of your own body – perhaps a finger or an eye.
The game is scheduled for release this winter and will include support for up to four players – whether this will be co-op or competitive is yet not clear.
