Square Enix CEO quits CESA post

Yoichi Wada, CEO of Japanese publisher Square Enix, is stepping down from his position as chairman of the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA).

Andriasang reports that Wada, who has served as chairman of the Tokyo Game Show organiser since May 2006, will leave his post on May 23, but will retain a seat on the board.

No reason was given for his decision. His replacement will be Namco Bandai VP Shin Unozawa.
