Square Enix, Eidos Look to Settle Deal in May

Companies lay out plan to complete acquisition.

Eidos on Wednesday released an expected schedule leading up to the closing of its $117 million acquisition by Square Enix.

Eidos tentatively expects the deal to settle on May 6, at which point the company will become a wholly-owned entity of Square Enix. The union will officially bring together properties such as Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy under the same umbrella.

Shareholders will vote on the deal the evening of March 25.
