Multiple listings for Project Natal emerged on Swedish retail websites this weekend, all of which hint at a potentially high price point for Microsoft's upcoming “controller free gaming experience”.
At least three Swedish retailers – including Game - have attached a 1,499 Swedish Kronor ($197 / £133) price tag to the standalone version of the Xbox 360 product, reports Kotaku.
While early retail listings aren’t always an accurate measure of a product’s final price - and the price tag in this instance could merely be a placeholder - it’s worth pointing out that the suggested price is dramatically higher than previous estimates for Natal, which is expected to launch this October.
