Take-Two is on track to enter profitability this year without relying on the release of a new Grand Theft Auto title: "We don't have any structural impediment to being profitable in a given year," he said.
Zelnick, who is set to become CEO of the company in January, also maintains that Take-Two doesn’t plan to release games annually as it can threaten quality.
Take-Two posted strong Q2 financial results earlier this year, and published Red Dead Redemption and Mafia II.
