Tex.-based Terminal Reality, developers of the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the upcoming Ghostbusters: The Video Game, will be licensing its new Infernal Engine to third parties.

The engine is currently being used in the Ghostbusters game, and is compatible with "all the leading gaming systems," including PC.

"Our licensees can leverage their work across more platforms, in less time, than any other engine..." claimed Joe Kreiner, VP of sales and marketing for Terminal Reality.

The Infernal Engine's features include a physics solution, particle system and rendering features.

Terminal Reality is showing the engine in private meetings at this week's DICE Summit in Las Vegas.
