Veteran UK developer The Code Monkeys has cut an unspecified number of staff.

“The Code Monkeys reduced staffing levels based on our current production needs and predictions of what is needed for 2010,” Adrian Hirst, development director at the Yorkshire-based studio, told us via email, confirming an earlier VG247 report.

Founded in 1988, the independent developer is currently working on a number of digital distribution projects including PSP Minis titles Manic Monkey Mayhem and Casper's Scare School, Triple Shot Sports for WiiWare and Manic Monkey Pool for mobiles.
