THQ CEO Brian Farrell is set to present at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference on Feb 26 in San Francisco.
The announcement from THQ follows news that EA's John Pleasants, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, will also be presenting at the conference. The event will be engaged by a host luminaries across different industries, with businesses such as Google, Verigy and SanDisk taking part.
Farrell will have a range of issues he could chose to elaborate on; from the publisher’s announcement made just weeks ago that it will shed 600 jobs, to recent cuts in THQ Wireless. There’s also opportunity to elaborate on the firm’s new Australasian distribution opportunities following the fall of Red Ant, or even the company’s prospects for a new De Blob title, which the firm has already implied could see a sequel.
Nothing has been confirmed as yet, and, since the conference will begin tomorrow, it’s likely that the media and investors won’t know any more of Farrell’s presentation until it occurs.
