Ubisoft’s Imagine casual game series has clocked one million annual sales.
The publisher also reports that, in the four weeks up to Christmas, the collection of titles sold more than 300,000 units.
The Imagine series consists of a broad range of job and life aspirations to play out, with Imagine Pet Vet, Imagine Wedding Designer, Imagine Dream Weddings, Imagine Teacher and Imagine Girl Band all providing glimpses into those roles and moments.
“The Imagine series and the broader Games For Everyone portfolio now represent a significant part of Ubisoft’s business,” says group brand manager Mark Slaughter, speaking to CasualGaming.biz.
“With Imagine, we were able to offer a broad range of games to a very targeted sector of the market,” he added, “a sector which we can expect to grow further. The continuing growth of the DS and Wii install bases also represents a significant area of opportunity for us with our more casual games.”

Since they only need to sell 10,000 copies of each title to break even, I'd say that Ubisoft have found a way to print money.
