Reports have come in stating that the Ubisoft E3 press conference Tuesday has ended with the official announcement of the heavily rumored project I Am Alive.
Ubisoft has also confirmed the game via a short press statement, which mentions that the game will test the wits and reactions of the player in a mysteriously ruined Chicago. CEO of Ubisoft Yves Guillemot said in the statement, “The game will offer a rich palette of emotions while challenging players to make life-changing decisions."
While the project was revealed via a trailer, little more information about the game was made known—though it is currently scheduled for spring of 2009 for “current generation consoles”. The rumored involvement of Jade Raymond on this project has also yet to be confirmed by official channels from the company.
I was quite intrigued by the setting of the trailer. Miss Raymond sure knows which setting to choose for her games!
Trailer looked cool. Looking forward to seeing how this game evolves.
I like Ubi creating NEW games instead of simply sequels. I like to think they are committed since the make so much off the Clancy games.

The trailer for I Am Alive looked really cool. The premise looks really interesting, and quite "out-there". Hopefully Jade will put some of that magic she used on Assassin's Creed into IAA and it becomes another Ubi hit.
