Ubisoft has today announced delays to a number of major titles.
Splinter Cell Conviction and Red Steel 2, which were previously scheduled for release during the third quarter of the publisher’s fiscal year, will now be released in the fourth quarter, which runs from January 1 to March 31, 2010.
Meanwhile, Ghost Recon 4 and I am Alive have been pushed back from the fourth fiscal quarter to fiscal 2010-11, which commences on April 1, 2010.
“We are disappointed that we have to postpone the release of several major games but we consider that this choice is the best one in the long term interests of Ubisoft,” said the publisher’s CEO, Yves Guillemot.
