3Ubisoft: our PC DRM works
The publisher once again got on the wrong side of PC gamers this week when it was revealed that the PC version of the upcoming Driver San Francisco requires a constant internet connection. 3Don't know why they think piracy is reduced when those 'always online' DRM schemes get cracked in the same time frame as any other copy protection and are available on torrent sites as fast as any other release.
The problem is these publishers let the makes of the DRM do their own research about it for them to save money.
Wonder if they have any stats to back that up
They certainly convinced me to avoid the game. Some of us still live in the dark ages of limited online access--the unfortunate circumstance of having a true man cave.
