Nintendo’s Wii Fit has retained the top spot in the UK all formats chart for the fifth consecutive week.
The exercise title held off competition from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which debuted in second place. Xbox 360 sales of the film tie-in accounted for 51 percent of the game’s overall sales total. The PS3 version generated 39 percent of sales, with the remainder spread across PS2, PSP, Wii, DS and PC.
FIFA 09, Wii Play and Resident Evil 5 took the next three spots on the chart.
The Chronicles of Riddick slipped from second to seventh, while The Godfather II also dropped five places to eighth.
The only other new top 40 entry was Singstar Pop Edition on PS3 at number 32.
