Sony’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and LucasArts’ Star Wars: The Force Unleashed have both cleared significant sales milestones, according to their publishers.
The critically acclaimed Uncharted 2 “has over 1.5 million online users worldwide, and has surpassed 3.5 million copies sold worldwide,” making it “the fastest selling first-party title for PlayStation”, said Scott Rohde, VP of product development at Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Meanwhile, despite receiving mixed reviews, LucasArts has revealed that its 2008 multiplatform release Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has moved over seven million copies, according to GameSpot.
In December the company announced that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II was in development for a 2010 release.
