Tools provider Unity Technologies has announced the opening of a UK studio headed by former EA Criterion man Graham Dunnett.
Having spent seven years at Criterion running the support team for the RenderWare middleware technology, Dunnett takes on the role of director of testing, support and docs at Unity’s new Crawley-based location.
The UK studio is currently recruiting with ten positions to fill including test, support and development engineers.
In October the tools firm dropped the $200 fee for its Unity Indie platform and replaced it with a free license named Unity, announced that it was working on a version of the platform for Xbox 360, and secured $5.5 million in funding.
