Unity Technologies has announced that its Unity development platform has passed the 100,000 registered user mark.
The company has also announced that it will further expand support for its development platform with a new strategy and opportunities being unveiled at the upcoming Game Developers Conference in March.
"It's amazing we have reached this milestone so quickly," said David Helgason, CEO of Unity Technologies. "We remain laser focused on pushing the edge in interactive 3D development and expanding usability, power and platform reach so developers can continue to create breakthrough content and take advantage of all the opportunities out there."
Unity Technologies recently announced the appointments of Brett Seyler as VP of Strategy and Steffen Toksvig as Development Director. Seyler joins from Torque engine developer InstantAction (formerly GarageGames) and Toksvig cames from Hitman developer IO Interactive.
