Yet another company has joined Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3 Integrated Partners Program.

Audiokinetic announced Thursday that its Wwise audio pipeline solution, which allows for real-time audio authoring, would become fully integrated into Epic's widely-used games engine.

Epic and Audiokinetic said Wwise is presently being used in the development of 85 titles, "a significant percent of which are powered by UE3."

Epic Games president Dr. Michael Capps said in a statement, "This integration will cut down on programming time and effort for our licensees who are using Wwise, and Epic is supporting Audiokinetic directly to ensure the package is kept up to date with all the latest upgrades to Unreal Engine 3.”

Other Integrated Program partners for UE3 include NaturalMotion, GameSpy, Fonix, Autodesk, Scaleform and many others.
