Vogster Entertainment Restructures, Cuts Staff

Independent developer behind shooter-MMO hybrid CrimeCraft makes "significant staffing changesî.

Independent developer Vogster Entertainment has announced that it is "restructuring to focus its resources” on its recently launched shooter-MMO hybrid CrimeCraft.

The company said that it has made “significant staffing changes” as it transitions CrimeCraft employees "from launch team to live team”, but that its New York-based headquarters “remains fully operational” and committed to working on new and existing titles.

“As an independent developer, we need to be very strategic in our use of available resources and shift from already launched titles to support the ongoing development and growth of CrimeCraft,” Daniel Prousline, vice president of development at Vogster, said in a statement issued to Destructoid.

“We regret the necessary staffing changes and the talented employees that this impacts, but it is an unavoidable step in moving to the operational stage of CrimeCraft and optimising for the development of yet to be announced titles.”

The developer also noted that CrimeCraft will see a number of “significant content additions” in the coming year.
