Wideload Games and others license graphics engine.

Emergent Technologies announced the Gamebryo Casual engine in late August, and six developers have now adopted the engine.

According to Emergent, the companies that have signed on are developing games for PSN, XBLA, WiiWare and PC.

Developers using the engine include 51.com, Digital Embryo, DIGITALIC, Hidden Path, Stickmen and Wideload Games.

Genres span from action-adventures, first-person shooters, racing and strategy.

Emergent Technologies also offers the original Gamebryo engine, used in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Freedom Force, Civilization IV and other high-profile titles.
