The promotion, announced earlier this year, will see mobile hits including Angry Birds, Plants Vs Zombies and Doodle Jump migrating to Windows Phone 7 handsets over the next two months.
Other games set to hit Windows-powered phones during the period include Hydro Thunder GP, GeoDefence (which will include cross-platform Xbox Live leaderboards) and Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.
The titles, which will cost between £2.49 and £5.99, are all available on other handsets but Microsoft is stressing the inclusion the Xbox Live support in these ports.
