UK indie games celebration World Of Love is to make its return on January 28 in London.
Following the success of last summer’s event which was hosted at broadcaster Channel 4’s headquarters, the Winter World Of Love sees the event move to the rather more spacious Conway Hall.
Organisers have announced the list of speakers for the event. Ricky Hagget and Richard Hogg of Honeyslug, Scoregasm developer Charlie Knight, Ella Romanos of Remode, Tak Fung from Supermono, Gamesbrief’s Nicholas Lovell, Phil Stuart of Preloaded, Sam Redfem of Dark-Wind, former Channel 4 commissioning editor for education Alice Taylor, Ian Hardingham and Paul Taylor from Mode 7, Bagfull of Wrong’s Robert Fearon, and Lottie’s Dungeon creator Sophie Houlden will address the audience on a variety of isses affecting the modern British indie developer.
Event organiser David Hayward said: "Indie game development is extremely diverse and that's definitely reflected in the running order for World of Love. From big corporates to small studios, and no matter what type of product they're developing, indie developers are definitely at the more sociable end of the scale. There's a real sense of mutual support and cooperation."
Last year’s event was a resounding success, and David Hayward wrote a blog for us explaining how the event was planned. We were also in attendance at the event and you can read our write-up here.
Tickets are now available for a mere £50 plus booking fee from A Winter World Of Love’s Eventbrite page.
