The latest update to the Xbox 360 dashboard will be released on December 6, Xbox Live mouthpiece Major Nelson has confirmed.
The update, revealed in June, adds cloud storage for game saves and Xbox Live profiles, and has been designed around Kinect, with the dashboard fully controllable by voice commands.
Microsoft will also begin adding content from TV companies including the BBC, Channel 4 and HBO, which it announced last month.

3fully controllable dashboard...does this mean i can control media i stream from my home network using kinect? because it currently only works on media i buy from ms through the 360...
excited, now i wont have to stream thing from my laptop to my tv i can just watch everything from xbox :D..... well inbetween my ventures or skyrim of course.
Streaming through your 360 sounds nice, in theory. Practically though, it's a power pig compared to a dedicated streaming device such as a Roku media player or WD Live; both of these are extremely energy-efficient, and can stream from a wide variety of sources without the annual Gold paywall.
