Ideazon, the PC gaming accessory company responsible for products including the Merc Keyboard line and the customizable Zboard, has been acquired by competitor SteelSeries in an asset transaction.
SteelSeries is known for its line of high-end gaming keyboards and mice, including the Ikari line. The company also produces mouse pads and audio accessories, primarily headsets. The company also involves itself in a variety of professional gaming events.
The new corporate entity will be based in Copenhagen, the current headquarters of SteelSeries. Ideazon is based in Canada.
