It is quite misleading to discuss PS3 beating 360 in the hi-def race and then quote total industry revenue of 1.1 billion. 360 and PS3 did not generate 1.1 billion in the month, but the industry as a whole including portables, PS2 and Wii. Your phrasing would make people think that those 2 consoles generated 1.1 billion when in fact they would have contributed less than a third of that revenue.
